NYC rapper Wiki, formerly of Ratking, has been spending the last good while sharing his talents with collaborators such as The Alchemist, MIKE, and others, but the time has come to stake his claim as a solo act to reckon with. Produced by long-time cohort Tony Seltzer, 14K Figaro features scorching hot guest turns from the likes of Remy Banks, the Bruiser Brigade’s Zelooperz, and WifiGawd, but there’s no mistaking who the star of the show is. Vinyl heads get a little four tune bonus, too, with the 2LP version of the album coming with four non-album tracks you won’t find anywhere else. – Flying Out

Wikisnew album,14K Figaro, arrives after a slew of collaborative projects released alongside the likes ofThe AlchemistandMIKE,Navy Blue, Subjxct5,andNAH.As much as it represents a return to his solo platform, its also a return to the ethos he initially embraced years ago, when he was a gap-toothed latchkey kid balancing graduation with looming legend.

The album is produced entirely byTony Seltzer, a longtime collaborator who helped soundtrack his earliest efforts includingNo Mountains in Manhattan, his 2017 debut album for XL Recordings, and Oofie, its potent 2019 follow-up. Features include the Worlds Fair MCRemy Banks, the Bruiser Brigade spitterZelooperz, and the prolific D.C. nativeWifiGawd. More than ever, Wiki stands as an anchor between past and future for New York, for hip-hop, and for himself.
