Theres a reason why many metalheads consider By Inheritance to be one of the greatest thrash albums of all time. The third record by the Danish riff lords, Artillery, is a towering stockpile of terrific riffs that draw influence from traditional Eastern music and the most technical Bay Area thrash opuses, pushing their sound to the genres proggiest edges without ever impeding on the mean-mugging fretwork that makes this such a spectacularly easy and rewarding album to digest. Its a classic.
