CONNER REEVES Ten Thousand Days And The Church Of The Restoration (Marking an extraordinary 27 years – or roughly ten thousand days – since his 1997 debut Earthbound, UK soul singer Conner Reeves makes a remarkable return with his long-awaited sophomore album Ten Thousand Days And The Church Of The Restoration. His first album, Earthbound, featured the much-loved hit single My Father’s Son, earned a BRIT Award nomination, and led to Reevessupporting Whitney Houston on tour and appearing on Top of the Pops. Despite his rapid rise, Reeves stepped away from the spotlight, facing years of personal struggle – from crippling stage fright and disillusionment with the music industry, to fatherhood, heartbreak, addiction, and even periods of homelessness. Throughout, he quietly built a respected career as a songwriter, penning tracks for Joss Stone, Rod Stewart, Westlife, Joe Cocker, Disclosure, James Morrison, Billy Porter, and many others. Now, with Ten Thousand Days And The Church Of The Restoration, Reeves re-emerges with a powerful, soul-drenched collection that represents both a comeback and the continuation of a journey that began in the late ’90s. Pressed on classic black vinyl inside a picture sleeve, factory sealed. Recommended)
