Where once upon a time Duster’s appeal lay partly in their all-too-brief existence and obscure output, their revival and reunion has now well and truly transcended temporary status. Surprise new album In Dreams pinches your arm just hard enough to let you know the dream is real, but has all the slow, sad, fuzzy, droned out Duster-isms you’ve come to know and love. Mmmm! – Flying Out

San Jose slowcore/space rock outfitDuster returns with surprise albumIn Dreams, continuing their of inclination of sonically capturing an open-ended question. These thirteen tracks hone in on their trademark dark, droning guitar tones, dialed back per – cussion, and alluring hard-panned vocals while expanding and exploring synth-heavy and drum machine avenues.
