Now, this one’s a doozy. In November 2022, our friend Princess Chelsea and The Dream Warriors found themselves inside Abbey Roads legendary Studio Two (yep, The Beatles, Pink Floyd, that one), recording ten songs live in a single day. Captured by director Marc Swadel, the crew of Tmaki locals pulled songs fromthe PC catalogue (including the Taite Music Prize winning albumEverything Is Going To Be Alright) and gave them the 1-2 live band punch at full strength. What ensued can only truly be revealed come February 27th, but anyone who has caught them on the stage will know this cauldron is set to be full of magic. – Flying Out

In November 2022, while touring her albumEverything Is Going To Be Alright, New Zealands own Princess Chelsea (a.k.a. Chelsea Nikkel) and her band The Dream Warriors found themselves at none other than Abbey Road Studios. They took over the legendary Studio Twofor a single day to record ten songs live, lovingly captured by a crew headed by director Marc Swadel (The Stone Roses: Made of Stone, Chemical Brothers: Dont Think, The Sparks Brothers).

The set leans heavily on Everything Is Going To Be Alright, which later won the Taite Music Prize (basically New Zealands Mercury Prize) for outstanding artistic achievement and was voted #2 best NZ album of the decade by Rolling Stone. Live at Studio Two captures Chelsea and the Warriors in their element vulnerable, funny, sad, a little surreal and completely alive inside one of the most famous rooms in the world.

Princess Chelseas music started as a bedroom experiment and with tracks like The Cigarette Duet and I Love My Boyfriend, she has quietly built a cult following online. These days, though, its grown into a full-blown live experience. Her expanded crew, The Dream Warriors, have been called one of the best live bands in New Zealand and features David Harris (drums), Joshua Worthington-Church (guitar), Simeon Kavanagh-Vincent (guitar), Joe Kaptein (keys), Jasmine Balmer (guitar), and Kate Tindall (vocals and percussion).
