“If you’re not quite ready to fork out for the recent exhaustive box set that digs up every little ditty and demo ever recorded by American singer-songwriterMargo Guryan, Numero have made it easy breezy for you by remastering and reissuing her1968 albumTake A Pictureas a standalone release. Rolling Stone hit the nail beautifully on the head when it said the album “bridges the gap between Burt Bacharach and Belle & Sebastian”, with its light grooves, breathy vocals, whimsical arrangements, and lounge-tastic pop. One listen to the dreamy and bouncy opening trackSunday Morning and you’ll be sold.” – Flying Out

Take A Picture is Margo Guryans one and done classic one of record collectings real unheralded masterpieces bright, breezy, lightly psychedelic, and utterly cosmopolitan, recorded in New York City no less.
